Benton Utilities Outage Map Going Live – January 21, 2026

Beginning at 7 am January 21st Benton Utilities customers will have access to an electric outage map and have the capability of reporting electric outages in three different ways! These new outage reporting options are available for electric services only.  Please continue to contact our dispatch to report issues with water, wastewater or other electrical concerns.  Any announcements concerning these services will continue to be posted to Facebook.

1.      SmartHub App. On your Phone

a.      Customers will have the ability to report electric outages via SmartHub. Once you are logged in to your account, two new buttons will appear. To report an electric outage, simply select the Report an Electric Outage button and complete the form. You will have the option to leave a helpful comment such as “I heard a loud pop” or “there is a broken pole” or any other comment that will be helpful to our dispatch. You will also have the capability of attaching a photo, if that is helpful. Once your electric outage is reported you can track its status via the “Track Issue Status” button which is located under the Contact Us option.

b.     If you choose the Power Outage Map button, an outage map showing all current outages, their status, and estimated restoration times.

2.      Public Outage Map

a.      The outage map will be able to be accessed via SmartHub, our website, or by entering the URL directly into your browser.

b.     Customers will also be able to report outages directly through the outage map. If you choose the “Report an Electric Outage” button, you will be prompted to enter your account information and complete the outage report form. Please note that you will need the email and password associated with your SmartHub account to report an electric outage via the outage map.

3.      Via Phone

a.       As always, our customers will be able to report an electrical outage by calling (501) 776-5930. The menu that you will hear upon calling this phone number will be changing, so please listen closely.  We will have a new automated phone system that will let you report outages quickly and easily by identifying your account using the incoming phone number. For this system to work properly, it is very important that the phone numbers associated with your account are up to date.
